That was a good, if brief, introduction to the study of Biblical prophecy both personal and general.Several sections specifically address the controversy over the meaning of some of the parables. He explains several different views, and then explains why he believes the way he does. I may not agree with all of his conclusions, but many of them were very insightful.Finally, he teaches us from the first chapters of Revelation, the letters to the seven churches, what our duties are in these final days. That part was very personally convicting and encouraging.I found the use of the New Living Translation distracting. I wish they had used a literal translation instead of a dynamic equivalence translation. It draws my attention away from what the author is trying to say, and I feel that I should look up what it says in another translation.I received this as a free ARC through NetGalley and Harvest House Publishers.
